Without an account

Your keyboards, layouts, Ergogen designs and firmware settings are saved in your browser's own storage on this computer. They aren't sent to us.
Files you open or download are handled in your browser. Firmware and Ergogen run on your computer.
We count visits: which pages are opened, roughly where from (country, from our database host's network edge), the kind of device and browser, the site that sent you, and a random visitor number kept in your browser. No cookies, no ads, no trackers from anyone else, and we don't store your IP address. If your browser sends "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control", we don't count you at all.
We count downloads and exports by type (for example "QMK zip") per day, with nothing that says who.

With an account

Your email address, and your name if your sign-in provider shares it, so you can sign in and we can tell your keyboards apart from everyone else's.
How you sign in: an emailed code or link, or Google, Microsoft, GitHub or Facebook. With those we only ask for your name and email address; we never see your password.
Your saved keyboards: the same keyboard data the tools keep in your browser, copied to your account so it's on every computer you use.
When you signed in and saved, so you (and we, to keep the service running) can see activity.
Only you can read your keyboards. The site's administrator can open one only to help with a problem, and every time that happens it's written in a log.

Messages you send us

The contact form keeps your name, email address, topic and message so we can answer. To stop floods of messages, we keep a one-way scrambled fingerprint of your network address with it, never the address itself.

Who handles it

Accounts and saved keyboards are stored with Supabase (United States). The site is served by Microsoft Azure. We don't sell or share your data with anyone else, and nothing here is used for advertising.

Deleting your data

Everything at once: sign in, open your Account page, and use Delete your account. Your account, your saved keyboards and your visit history are deleted straight away.
One keyboard: delete it from your Account page, or from the keyboard menu in any tool.
What's on this computer: sign out and choose Remove from this computer, or clear this site's data in your browser's settings.
Signed in with Facebook, Google, Microsoft or GitHub and can't get in? Send us a message from the contact page with the email address on the account, and we'll delete it within 30 days. You can also remove TurkeyBoards Tools from the apps connected to your Facebook, Google, Microsoft or GitHub account at any time.
